Verdelho
Portuguese white grape from the island of Maderia. Produces small hard grapes with must high in acidity. Notable success with plantings in Australia, where it has produced vibrant, lemony, full-bodied table wines. Early bud burst and early maturity (about 1 week before Chardonnay).
